About this role
This senior legal role supports Global Payments' Privacy Office by advising business and technology teams on consumer privacy and artificial intelligence (AI) compliance. The attorney will draft privacy materials, guide product strategy, review data protection terms in agreements, and conduct privacy and responsible AI assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise business teams on privacy, AI, and related laws
- Review and advise on data protection terms in agreements (license, vendor, SaaS, technology, master services, confidentiality)
- Draft privacy policies, notices, disclosures, and communications
- Perform privacy impact assessments and responsible AI assessments
- Advise marketing teams on compliance implications of marketing initiatives and communications
Technical Overview
The technical environment is compliance-focused, covering privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default governance, records of processing, and responsible AI assessment processes. It also spans contract data protection terms for SaaS and technology agreements and cross-functional collaboration with Information Security, Data Governance, Risk, and Audit teams.

The ideal candidate is a senior B2B privacy and AI compliance attorney with demonstrated experience advising business teams on consumer privacy and artificial intelligence (AI) regulatory requirements. They can draft privacy documentation, manage data protection terms in SaaS and technology agreements, and perform privacy impact assessments and responsible AI assessments across global scope jurisdictions.
