About this role
Senior data center connectivity engineer responsible for leading the design and deployment of connectivity for NVIDIA’s large-scale AI deployments. Owns connectivity reference designs, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware, network, and facilities teams to optimize cluster builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Own development of connectivity reference designs based on cluster architecture and network engineering
- Build and develop documentation including rack elevations and network diagrams
- Lead engineering support for cluster build-out and operation
- Co-design the cluster with power and cooling infrastructure teams
- Translate software stack requirements into physical requirements and develop new connectivity solutions
Technical Overview
Focus on high-speed interconnect technologies (InfiniBand, RoCE, RDMA), data center infrastructure (rack power, cooling, cabling), and co-design with facilities and infrastructure software. Supports hyperscale workloads requiring scalable network fabrics for GPU clusters.

The ideal candidate is a senior data center connectivity engineer with 12+ years in hyperscale/HPC environments, deep expertise in InfiniBand/RoCE/RDMA, and a proven track record deploying connectivity for thousands of GPU/CPU nodes. They should excel at cross-functional collaboration and be able to co-design with facilities for power and cooling.
