About this role
Senior data center operations engineer responsible for the hands-on maintenance and expansion of Vernon data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, cabling, and GPU compute deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure data center hardware is properly racked, labeled, cabling configured
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in GPU and Networking systems
- Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM
- Inventory management and large-scale deployment coordination
- On-call escalation and cross-site collaboration
Technical Overview
Focus on DC infrastructure with strong emphasis on power theory, DCIM tooling, Linux administration, and GPU interconnects (Infiniband/NVIDIA NVL72). On-site with travel to other sites as needed.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior data center engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining critical DC infrastructure, including power, airflow, DCIM, and cabling. Needs strong Linux administration skills and familiarity with GPU compute hardware and high-speed interconnects (Infiniband).
