About this role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will build and improve data-driven systems that support networking verification and optimize advanced protocol algorithms in NVIDIA Data Center environments. You will design data pipelines, backend services, and observability components while improving performance and reliability of data storage and retrieval.

Technical Overview

The role centers on scalable database architectures and data pipelines, with strong expertise in SQL and/or NoSQL systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis. You will work in Linux environments, develop backend services, and troubleshoot distributed data environment issues; preferred experience includes distributed databases and Kafka-based data streaming, plus cloud-native and containerized setups.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior data engineer with 5+ years of software engineering experience centered on databases, data pipelines, and scalable data storage/retrieval systems. They have strong hands-on expertise with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis), proficiency in Python/Java/Go, and experience operating in Linux environments. They are familiar with distributed data environments and, ideally, data streaming with Kafka.
