About this role

Senior DevOps Engineer to operate and improve platform tools, automate workloads, and manage the observability stack in a Kubernetes-based environment. You will own day-to-day Kubernetes operations, CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, and production readiness, including on-call escalations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and improve platform tools to enable reliable shipping
Maintain and extend self-service workflows
Kubernetes operations: deploy/update Helm charts, namespaces, rollout diagnose
Support CI/CD pipelines: GitLab CI, ensure green pipelines and deployment strategies
Monitor observability stack: Prometheus/Alertmanager/Thanos and SLO/SLA indicators

Technical Overview

Stack includes Kubernetes, GitLab CI, AWS, and a comprehensive observability stack (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Thanos, OpenTelemetry). You will automate across Bash/Python, manage Helm charts, and implement blue/green or canary deployment strategies.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior-level DevOps engineer with 8+ years of experience, strong Kubernetes and GitLab CI expertise, and a track record of automating deployments on AWS, building observability, and implementing safe deployment strategies. Must be comfortable with on-call duties and cross-team collaboration.
