Drive new and repeat business growth for genomics, immunohistochemistry (IHC), proteomics, and flow cytometry services across an assigned territory. Prospect pharma and biotech customers, coordinate strategic meetings with scientific leadership, and close high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and source new pharma and biotech customers
- Pitch and present research services and solutions
- Coordinate large, strategic meetings with customer senior scientific leadership and company leadership
- Manage an opportunity pipeline (25-50+ open opportunities) and feasibility case queue
- Close deals using logic, reason, and scientific acumen
Technical Overview
Sales leadership for bioanalytic and biospecimen service offerings, leveraging genomics, IHC, proteomics, and flow cytometry knowledge. Works closely with procurement feasibility and scientific leadership teams to evaluate project workability and advance feasibility-driven opportunities through the pipeline.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced business development leader with 8+ years of sales experience selling genomics, immunohistochemistry (IHC), proteomics, or flow cytometry services. They can build relationships with large pharma and biotech accounts, manage a high-volume opportunity pipeline, and coordinate strategic customer meetings with scientific leadership to close projects.
