Senior Director, Technology Innovation

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Senior Director to lead technology innovation across digital infrastructure. The role owns exploration, adoption, and integration of advanced technologies including AI/ML and automation, and drives roadmaps and scaled deployments that deliver measurable business value.

• Lead multi-year emerging technology strategies and innovation programs; Define and execute innovation roadmaps across AI/ML, automation, analytics, and infrastructure; Drive cross-functional programs from concept to proof-of-concept, pilot, and scaled deployment; Build ROI models, business cases, and investment recommendations; Establish partnerships and represent the company at industry forums and councils

This role focuses on emerging technology strategy and execution: AI/ML, automation, analytics, edge computing, and quantum. It includes building ROI models and business cases, running proof-of-concept and pilots, and coordinating responsible adoption through governance, compliance, and risk considerations.

The ideal candidate is an executive technology leader who can both set multi-year innovation strategy and drive execution from concept to proof-of-concept, pilot, and scaled deployment. They have strong experience building business cases and ROI models for emerging technologies such as AI/ML, automation, edge computing, and quantum while partnering with vendors, hyperscalers, and research institutions. They demonstrate comfort advising senior leadership through executive briefings and innovation workshops.
