About this role

Senior EHS Engineer at Baxter, responsible for driving environmental projects to improve facility compliance with EPA regulations and water/air permits. Manages internal audits, regulatory inspections, and EMS program activities.

Key Responsibilities

Initiate, engineer and/or manage environmental projects to enhance compliance
Perform monthly/annual EPA/permitting reports and permit compliance
Manage regulatory inspections from EPA, PRASA, EQB, and DNER
Maintain EMS standards and ISO audits; support external audits
Provide training and coordinate recycling and data management

Technical Overview

Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, NSR/NESHAP, ISO 14001, and EMS; capable of internal and external audits and coordinating permit reporting; proficient in data collection and budgeting.

The ideal candidate is an experienced EHS engineer with 5+ years handling EPA regulations and environmental capital projects, strong auditing and ISO 14001 focus, and leadership in facility environmental programs.
