About this role
Plan, organize, manage, and execute electrical engineering projects from design through construction/commissioning. Develop and review engineering deliverables and documentation, lead design reviews, and evaluate vendor proposals for compliance with codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute electrical engineering projects/programs
- Develop and oversee electrical design tasks (modeling, calculations, drawings, specifications)
- Prepare and review technical documentation and reports
- Conduct design reviews and evaluate vendor proposals for code/standards compliance
- Model, simulate, and analyze design components and resolve technical issues during construction/commissioning
Technical Overview
Work includes electrical engineering design execution with modeling, calculations, drawings, and specifications, supported by engineering software for simulation and analysis. Produce electrical deliverables (Single Line Diagrams, Power and Control Plans, cable schedules, BOMs, and EWPs) and support technical issue resolution during construction and commissioning.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior electrical engineer with a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of related engineering experience. They have strong delivery experience producing electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, Power and Control Plans, cable and lighting layouts, and Bills of Material (BOMs), and they actively support design reviews and vendor proposal evaluations for code and standards compliance. They can use engineering software for modeling/simulation and contribute throughout construction and commissioning.
