About this role
Senior Engineering Manager serves as the site’s technical leader for engineering and maintenance. The role owns production support, multi-discipline engineering (mechanical, process, controls, electrical), validation, capital planning/spending, and people leadership while ensuring safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide site technical leadership across engineering and maintenance
- Own Maintenance and Engineering Budgets and Capital Spending
- Ensure safe working environment with proper safety tools and procedures
- Develop engineering and maintenance strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead people management including hiring, coaching, counseling, evaluation, and discipline
Technical Overview
Leads engineering and maintenance strategy across facility and production equipment, including validation and technical support for new product launches. Manages engineering disciplines (mechanical, process, controls, electrical) and drives process optimization and cost reduction through budget and capital ownership.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive-level engineering leader with 10+ years in manufacturing engineering and deep exposure to equipment and facility planning, design, construction, and operations. They demonstrate strong budget and capital spending ownership, lead production support and validation, and have a track record of managing engineering/maintenance teams with clear safety and compliance leadership.
