About this role
This role is responsible for GAAP-compliant general ledger accounting and supporting the financial forecast and reporting cycle. You will perform reconciliations, assist with audits, and help finance and land teams with land balance and development budget support.
Key Responsibilities
- General ledger accounting to ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls
- Assist with financial forecasting and analysis for Revenue, Profit, Overhead expense, and land cashflow projections
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including month-end procedures, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Review Real Estate Tax payments and payroll accuracy & completeness
- Support audits by providing information and responding to audit reports
Technical Overview
The technical scope is finance operations: GAAP accounting, financial forecasting and analysis, month-end processes, journal entry preparation, and reconciliations. The role also supports tax, payroll review, audit readiness, and land cashflow feasibility analysis.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level financial professional with strong GAAP and general ledger accounting experience, including month-end procedures, journal entries, and reconciliations. They can produce financial forecasts and perform detailed financial analysis to support revenue, profit, overhead, and land cashflow projections, while partnering effectively with auditors and internal teams.
