Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fixed asset accounting and the SAP fixed assets system
- Support financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Participate in and review periodend close activities
- Create and maintain monthly accounting schedules and perform reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and distribute routine/ad hoc financial reports with analysis
Technical Overview
Performs fixed asset accounting oversight using the SAP fixed assets system and SAP general ledger, including preparation and review of journal entries via the Cadency tool. Produces period-end close outputs and reconciliations supported by strong Excel analysis and documented desk procedures.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior financial analyst with 5+ years of accounting experience across public accounting, corporate accounting, or manufacturing, with strong GAAP knowledge. They have hands-on fixed asset accounting experience using SAP fixed assets and SAP general ledger, and are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, schedules, and audit support.
