Senior Lead IT Engineer

This role is a technical leadership position focused on administering and optimizing Flexera One and related Software Asset Management (SAM) tools. You will lead enterprise IT engineering efforts for SAM tooling stability, scalability, security, and compliance, including agent administration and incident resolution.

• Administer, optimize, and support Flexera One / FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and related Software Asset Management (SAM) tooling
• Manage FNMS Agent Administration (deployment, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, lifecycle management)
• Ensure accurate inventory, license compliance, and audit readiness in partnership with SAM/Security/Compliance
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex infrastructure and agent-related incidents
• Serve as technical lead for enterprise IT engineering initiatives, mentoring teams and defining engineering standards/runbooks

You will administer Flexera One / FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and SaaS Manager, including FNMS Agent Administration (deployment, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, lifecycle management). The job emphasizes server and agent-based architecture design, inventory/license compliance reporting, integration work, and operational automation through runbooks and change management processes.

The ideal candidate is a senior lead IT engineer with 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering and demonstrated hands-on SAM Tool Administration. They are an expert in Flexera One and FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS), including FNMS Agent Administration, inventory reconciliation, reporting, and ensuring license compliance and audit readiness. They also lead root cause analysis for complex infrastructure/agent incidents and provide technical mentorship for enterprise IT engineering initiatives.
