About this role

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to provide Tier 1-2 support for the Unified Jury Management System (UJMS) in a fully remote government environment; responsibilities include ticketing, remote troubleshooting, documentation, and security management.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for UJMS
Utilize ITSM tool to create or track issues/requests
Provide timely updates to tickets
Perform remote troubleshooting
Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support

Tech scope includes Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7+, Apache Tomcat, Microsoft SQL Server, ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM-like activities, and IT security management in a remote setting; strong emphasis on troubleshooting and ITIL processes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Linux systems administrator with hands-on experience in RHEL, Apache Tomcat, and SQL Server, capable of Tier 1-2 support for a government IT system. They should have strong troubleshooting and communications skills and the ability to obtain/maintain AOUSC Public Trust clearance.
