About this role
Senior Localization Technical Program Manager to lead localization initiatives across Mozilla products. You will partner with UX, Content, and Engineering, collaborate with language service providers and volunteers, and shape the long-term localization strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead localization initiatives with volunteers and LSPs; Drive end-to-end localized releases; Own localization requests and scoping; Make trade-offs to optimize delivery; Collaborate with engineers and other TPs to improve tooling and workflows
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes localization engineering, i18n, translation management, and tooling automation; proficient with GitHub, Python, and Bash to automate workflows and coordinate cross-region delivery.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior localization program manager with deep experience in localization processes and translation workflows, plus hands-on experience with GitHub, Python, and Bash. They are capable of coordinating cross-functional teams across regions to deliver localization at scale in nonprofit/open-source contexts.
