About this role
Senior Manager, Business Unit Risk - Social Media Governance leads governance and risk framework for Corporate Affairs’ brand social media presence, partnering with Compliance, Legal, and other control functions to set policies and robust oversight. Responsible for RCSA, control design, and continuous governance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define social media governance & policy; provide guidance on risk identification and approval workflows
- Lead risk oversight for social media channels by guiding teams through pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases
- Monitor regulatory changes; translate requirements to updated policies
- Assess and mitigate risk; identify security, privacy, and compliance risks across social platforms
- Serve as the Corporate Affairs Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Facilitator; support the broader risk framework
Technical Overview
Focus on governance frameworks, risk and control assessments, record retention, and policy development with cross-functional collaboration across Corporate Affairs and regulatory compliance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced risk professional with governance and social media risk background; skilled in RCSA, policy development, change management, and training materials; able to work with Compliance, Legal, and other control functions.
