Senior Manager, Data Science - LLM Customization Team

This role leads data science work to customize and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) for business applications. You will partner across research and engineering to build, evaluate, and validate NLP and GenAI solutions, then operationalize them into scalable production systems.

• Partner cross-functionally to deliver AI-powered products
• Leverage PyTorch, Hugging Face, AWS Ultraclusters, LangChain, VectorDBs
• Be an expert in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Build NLP models across design, training, evaluation, and validation
• Operationalize models into scalable and resilient production systems

You will build NLP models spanning design, training, evaluation, and validation for Large Language Models (LLMs), with a focus on fine-tuning for business-specific features. The stack includes PyTorch, Hugging Face, AWS Ultraclusters, LangChain, and VectorDBs, with an emphasis on production-grade, scalable, and resilient systems.

The ideal candidate is a senior data science leader who is an expert in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and has hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) in production. They have fine-tuned LLMs for business-specific applications using open-source tooling and cloud platforms, and they can take models through design, training, evaluation, and validation while partnering with engineering to operationalize them. They also bring strong cross-functional influence and communication to align AI capabilities with business goals.
