About this role
Lead Workday functional engineering for the Workday Platform & Data Governance team, bridging Human Resources and Finance configurations. Own Foundation Data Model (FDM) alignment, data quality authority, and cross-application configuration standards across HCM and Financials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Workday functional analysts
- Oversee cross-application Business Processes (BPs), intersection security groups, and custom organizations
- Ensure Foundation Data Model (FDM) changes are mapped into HCM condition rules, routing logic, and integrations
- Serve as central escalation point for configuration conflicts between HR and Finance teams
- Design functional safeguards and run operational reporting and audit processes
Technical Overview
Responsible for Workday platform configuration and governance across Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Financials (FIN). Drives alignment of Foundation Data Model (FDM), manages cross-application Business Processes (BPs), security groups, and organizations, and ensures downstream data quality impacts IAM systems and data warehouses.

The ideal candidate is a Workday functional leader with deep experience supporting Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Financials (FIN) using strong platform and data governance knowledge. They have led cross-domain configuration work, ensured Foundation Data Model (FDM) alignment, and acted as an escalation point to resolve HR/Finance configuration conflicts.
