About this role
Lead Workday functional platform engineering work across Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials (FIN) while driving data governance and data quality. You will manage configuration activities, resolve HR/Finance configuration conflicts, and ensure the Foundation Data Model (FDM) remains aligned across modules and integrations.

- Ensure Foundation Data Model (FDM) alignment across Workday HCM and Workday Financials (FIN)
- Resolve configuration conflicts between HR and Finance teams
- Implement safeguards to prevent bad data from entering Workday
- Oversee reporting and audit processes tied to data governance
Technical Overview
This role is a Workday functional leadership position covering cross-domain configuration, Business Processes (BPs), intersection security groups, and custom organizations. You will govern the Foundation Data Model (FDM), oversee condition rules and routing logic, and ensure downstream impacts to data warehouses and Identity and access management (IAM) are controlled via functional safeguards.

The ideal candidate is a senior Workday functional leader who has supported Workday HCM and Workday Financials with deep ownership of the Foundation Data Model (FDM). They have led teams of functional analysts, resolved configuration conflicts across HR and Finance, and implemented data quality safeguards that protect downstream systems like data warehouses and IAM.
