About this role

The Senior Manager, Security Engineering will lead Vanta’s Security Engineering team, driving application security strategy and enterprise security requirements. The role partners with Engineering and Product Development to assess and communicate risk and ensure security is built into product development, while representing Vanta as a security thought leader.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Security Engineering team
Define strategy for Vanta’s application security program and drive implementation of security protocols
Leverage AI to improve team process efficiency and security program maturity
Work with Engineering and Product Development to assess acceptable risk and help ensure security in products
Provide expert feedback to Product, Engineering, and Design teams and act as a trusted security thought leader
