About this role
Role focuses on acquiring and onboarding new partners to Target+ Marketplace, building strategic partnerships, and negotiating contracts to expand Target's digital marketplace offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new marketplace partners (DTC brands, vendors, retailers) to drive growth on Target+ Marketplace
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies and partner onboarding
- Manage corporate contracts, including negotiating terms and policies
- Collaborate with Marketplace Partner Growth & Management and enterprise merchant teams to close gaps in Target's digital offering
- Build and monitor a go-to-market sourcing strategy based on financial and profitability goals
Technical Overview
Leverages Salesforce Sales Cloud and CRM to manage partner pipelines, conducts competitive analysis and market discovery, and develops go-to-market strategies with cross-functional teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level sales and business development professional with 4+ years in digital marketplaces or 5+ years in sales/business development roles, experienced in partnerships and contract negotiations for marketplace platforms.
