About this role
The Senior Material Logistics Planner develops analyses and reporting to improve productivity and efficiency across logistics operations. The role uses data from SAP and WMS-related systems to create metrics, identify operational issues, and support network optimization and supply chain redesign.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operational analyses for services, projects, or business actions
- Maintain databases and develop metrics/scorecards to measure performance
- Analyze performance/productivity data, error rates, and root causes
- Monitor and analyze reports to identify operational issues
- Create analytics for modeling, network optimization, supply chain redesign, and productivity savings
Technical Overview
This is an analytics-heavy logistics role focused on data extraction, manipulation, and reporting. You will work with Microsoft Excel (including macros) and Microsoft Access, extract data from SAP, maintain databases, and produce reporting tools and analytics for modeling, network optimization, and supply chain redesign.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior logistics planner with 2+ years of supply chain or logistics experience who can build operational analyses and scorecards to improve productivity and efficiency. They are advanced in Excel (including macros) and comfortable extracting and manipulating data from SAP and WMS environments to support network optimization and supply chain redesign.
