About this role

Senior Optical & AI Data Center Solutions Architect/Engineer to design and deploy AI-optimized optical data center networks; collaborate with NVIDIA AI teams to ensure high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity; apply Nokia ONC best practices and automation scripting to operate at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize optical networks for data center interconnects powering AI workloads
Work closely with NVIDIA AI infrastructure teams for high-bandwidth connectivity
Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of optical systems
Apply Nokia ONC knowledge to implement best practices in deployment
Develop scripts and automation tools for network monitoring and performance tuning

Technical Overview

DC optical networking with ONC-certified hands-on experience; EMU with EVPN/VXLAN, spine-leaf, SR Linux; optical transport (DWDM, coherent optics); AI workloads and NVIDIA infrastructure; scripting with Python/Ansible; remote deployment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior optical and data center engineer with ONC certification, strong DC networking experience (EVPN/VXLAN, spine-leaf, SR Linux), and hands-on optical transport expertise. They should have working knowledge of AI workloads and NVIDIA AI infrastructure, plus scripting with Python/Ansible and a track record delivering reliable, scalable data center networks.
