About this role
This role develops and leads packaging plans and strategies aligned to business goals, specifically in support of partnerships and acquisitions. The engineer analyzes operational, test, and research data to establish technical specifications and manages packaging verification and validation under quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in project teams for due diligence, test data review, gap analysis, and packaging strategy development
- Develop and align the packaging integration workstream with project milestones
- Identify packaging integration risks/gaps and create mitigation plans
- Complete engineering work including material evaluation, process studies, and research investigations
- Manage packaging verification and validation data in accordance with quality systems
Technical Overview
The technical scope includes packaging integration workstreams, due diligence, and test data review, followed by packaging verification and validation with risk assessment and design input/output translation. Key work includes material evaluation, process studies, research investigations, DMR documentation generation, and collaboration with departments and suppliers in a hybrid model.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior packaging engineer with 3+ years of engineering experience, who can independently lead packaging plans and integration strategies for partnerships and acquisitions. They are strong in reviewing test data, performing gap analysis and risk assessment, and managing packaging verification and validation within quality systems.
