About this role
As a Senior Planning Analyst, you will develop actionable analyses to improve productivity and efficiency of logistics operations. The role emphasizes data-driven reporting, operational performance monitoring, and analytics to support network optimization and supply chain redesign decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operational analyses of services and projects
- Maintain databases and develop metrics and scorecards
- Analyze performance/productivity data and error rates to find root causes
- Monitor reports to identify operational issues
- Create and deliver reporting and analytics for network optimization and productivity savings
Technical Overview
You will maintain databases, extract information, and build metrics/scorecards using spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. You will use Microsoft Office with advanced Excel (including macros) and Microsoft Access for reporting, including extracting system data from SAP and supporting tools tied to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and order management applications.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level logistics and supply chain analyst with 2+ years of experience performing operational analyses, developing metrics/scorecards, and using advanced Excel (including macros) to build reports. They can extract and manipulate data from SAP and support reporting with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), using root cause analysis to identify and resolve operational issues.
