About this role
This is a senior infrastructure DevOps/platform leadership role focused on automating and improving the Midstream IT infrastructure platform. The engineer will establish platform standards, drive infrastructure automation, and lead work across CI/CD, SRE, DevSecOps, and zero-trust network architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure automation initiatives and establish platform standards
- Drive CI/CD for infrastructure operations and DevSecOps/SDLC processes
- Provide technical leadership for SRE practices including root cause analysis and capacity planning
- Design and implement Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network as Code, Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN), and Zero Trust Network Architecture
- Manage platform and system technical support, troubleshooting procedures, downtime minimization, and backup planning
Technical Overview
The role covers infrastructure automation frameworks and infrastructure as code, including CI/CD for infrastructure operations and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes. It also includes advanced networking capabilities (Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network as Code, Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN)) and Zero Trust Network Architecture, alongside SRE practices like root cause analysis, performance benchmarks, capacity planning, and IT Service Management-based tuning.
