About this role
This role supports procurement at Vanta by guiding purchasing decisions and leading vendor engagements from early discussions through signed contracts. You will manage end-to-end procure-to-pay operations at scale, using data to drive fair pricing and improving processes for speed and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide purchasing decisions and lead negotiations
- Lead vendor engagements through signed contracts
- Own and improve end-to-end procure-to-pay process
- Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and performance tracking
- Support spend across software, marketing, real estate, and professional services
Technical Overview
You will operate procurement systems and tools such as Zip, Ramp, and Navan (or similar platforms) to manage spend and vendor relationships. The role focuses on procurement operations fundamentals like procure-to-pay, third-party risk, vendor lifecycle management, and scalable process design.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior procurement professional with 4–7 years of procurement or procurement operations experience, ideally at a software or B2B technology company. They have strong vendor contract negotiation skills with legal considerations, a solid grasp of third-party risk and vendor lifecycle management, and can run an end-to-end procure-to-pay process while improving scalable procurement workflows.
