About this role
Prudential is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead strategy, enablement, and adoption of enterprise data management platforms spanning data catalog, data quality, data lineage, MDM, and RDM. The role ensures the platforms are integrated, secure, and deliver measurable value while aligning global business teams and governance priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own enterprise data catalog, data quality, data lineage, MDM, and RDM platform strategy and execution
- Design "Global Catalog" architecture for metadata synchronization across domain catalogs
- Operationalize enterprise-wide data quality management framework with automated rule enforcement and monitoring
- Scale MDM/RDM tools and enable APIs for mastered data across domains
- Oversee enablement and integration of lineage tools for end-to-end lineage tracking and traceability
Technical Overview
The job focuses on owning enterprise data platform capabilities, including designing a "Global Catalog" to synchronize metadata from domain catalogs and operationalizing data quality governance with automated rule enforcement and monitoring. It also includes enabling MDM/RDM APIs and integrating lineage tools for end-to-end data lineage tracking and data provenance/impact analysis, with cloud-native integration across AWS and Azure and AI/ML platforms.

The ideal candidate is a senior product owner who has led enterprise data management platforms focused on data catalog, data quality, data lineage, Master Data Management (MDM), and Reference Data Management (RDM). They have strong platform ownership experience—designing global catalog architectures, scaling MDM/RDM across domains, and operationalizing governance frameworks with measurable KPIs—along with familiarity integrating with AWS and Azure and enabling adoption across business teams.
