About this role
Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer, Red Team at Okta is responsible for owning and evolving the red-team infrastructure, tooling, and automation. You will design, build, and maintain IaC-based red-team platforms to enable faster, OPSEC-aware engagements and collaborate with operators and stakeholders to improve security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of red team infrastructure
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Develop custom tools and automation to support red team operations
- Collaborate with operators on engagement planning and requirements
- Maintain runbooks, documentation, and SOPs; ensure evidence collection for reports
Technical Overview
Focus on building scalable, automated red-team infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent IaC, including C2 servers, redirectors, phishing infrastructure, and payload-delivery systems; maintain logs and runbooks; ensure OPSEC constraints and security controls are embedded in platforms; contribute to measurement of infrastructure maturity.

The ideal candidate is a senior security infrastructure engineer with 5+ years of infra/DevOps experience, specializing in red-team infrastructure, tooling, and automation. They excel at building scalable IaC platforms, OPSEC-conscious architectures, and collaborating with operators and stakeholders to raise security maturity.
