Senior Product Solution Engineer (Sr. PSE) will drive technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts during complex enterprise sales cycles. The role focuses on leveraging AI-enabled capabilities to translate global tax and compliance challenges into scalable solutions powered by Avalara.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AI-enabled solution work internally and externally
Architect and deliver technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
Simplify global tax determination, document management, and compliance into clear narratives
Operate across Avalara solution portfolio and enterprise ecosystems (ERP/CRM/eCommerce/POS)
Represent Avalara at webinars, conferences, and industry events

Technical Overview

This role combines AI-enabled workflow design and hands-on solution configuration/demos for Avalara platforms (AvaTax, ECM, MRS). It requires integration know-how across enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and POS, with familiarity with MCPs and APIs.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior solution engineer with 10+ years of experience spanning tax, technology, and solution engineering, and who can lead technical wins throughout the sales cycle. They are fluent with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Glean, n8n) and have hands-on experience configuring and demonstrating Avalara solutions like AvaTax, ECM, and MRS, including building proof-of-concepts for enterprise systems.
