Senior Programmer Analyst role focused on modernizing and enhancing a legacy .NET application. You will migrate database components to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud and use Artificial Intelligence (AI) assisted tools to accelerate development tasks like code generation, reverse engineering, and test automation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead modernization of a legacy .NET application to updated tools and technologies in the AWS Cloud
Use AI tools to accelerate development tasks (code generation, reverse engineering, test cases, documentation)
Plan and execute SQL Server database migrations to AWS (schema, data, data access)
Maintain and enhance .NET application components with SQL Server and data access to Teradata and Oracle
Troubleshoot application and data access issues across heterogeneous database systems

Technical Overview

Work centers on C#/.NET development with SQL Server, integrating with Teradata and Oracle data sources. The role includes Azure DevOps or Agile development and hands-on migration planning/execution to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, including SQL Server database migrations and advanced SQL work (queries, triggers, stored procedures, and SSIS packages).

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior .NET-focused programmer analyst with 5+ years of C, C++, C#, and .NET development experience and strong SQL Server skills. They have 3+ years in client-side technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery), experience with Azure DevOps or Agile development, and hands-on experience migrating legacy systems to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. They also bring practical database migration and troubleshooting experience across heterogeneous databases (SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle).
