About this role
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Python DevSecOps Engineer to join its onsite BMC2 Capabilities engineering team. The role builds and manages DevSecOps pipelines, designs and integrates software solutions, and operates in an Agile/Scrum and SAFe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex DevSecOps pipelines for embedded systems applications and declarative pipelines (Gitlab or Github Actions)
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions
- Integrate with artifact repositories like JFrog Artifactory
- Build Grafana dashboards and deploy Kubernetes using YAML
- Operate in a collaborative SAFe agile environment and maintain configuration management
Technical Overview
You will manage complex DevSecOps pipelines using declarative workflows (GitLab or GitHub Actions) and integrate with artifact repositories like JFrog Artifactory. The role includes building Grafana dashboards, deploying Kubernetes workloads via YAML, and developing Python services that integrate via RESTful APIs on Linux systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior DevSecOps engineer with strong Python development skills and hands-on experience building secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions. They have worked with JFrog Artifactory, created Grafana dashboards, deployed Kubernetes workloads using YAML, and operate comfortably in Agile/Scrum and SAFe environments with an active Interim Secret clearance.
