Power Design Engineer for Acacia hardware; design DC-DC power supplies, select components, and ensure performance across high-current and low-noise requirements; collaborate with hardware, mechanical, optics, and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture: Lead power delivery system architecture and specs
- Design: Analyze and simulate high current, low noise power circuits
- Debug: Bring-up and lab validation
- Verification: Write and execute test/DVT plans
- Leadership: PCB layout and power integrity leadership
Technical Overview
Deep expertise in high-efficiency DC-DC power conversion, control loops, phase/gain margins, and power integrity. Proficient with Spice LTspice, TI WorkBench, Cadence Allegro, and DxDesigner; strong PCB layout and thermal design capabilities; hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate is a senior power design engineer with 5+ years direct DC-DC power supply experience, capable of leading high-current, low-noise designs for leading-edge hardware in a hybrid work environment.
