About this role
Senior SAP Consultant to support Federal Prison Industries (FPI) for DOJ, providing SAP ERP configuration, upgrades, and integrations in a primarily remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP ERP configuration and continuous improvement across key business modules
- Troubleshoot SAP ERP issues
- Support SAP S/4HANA upgrades, patches, testing
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams to move ERP projects forward
- Assist with SAP integrations, including API integration
Technical Overview
Configuration and upgrades across SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA; API integration with third-party software; G-Invoicing and U.S. Treasury processes; cross-functional team coordination; budgeting and continuity
Must-Have Skills
2+ years of SAP integration optionsincluding third-party software configuration and SAP module configuration2+ years of experience training and transferring knowledge to junior staff1+ year of experience with U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing and SAP API integration2+ years of experience supporting business processes such as supply chain managementmaterials managementand production planning2+ years of experience coordinating functional and technical team efforts across assigned projects1+ year of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA upgradesincluding support pack or version updates2+ years of experience troubleshooting issues within SAP ERP environments2+ years of experience identifying and recommending system performance improvements
