About this role
This role supports therapeutic discovery and development by building and applying experimental and computational tools in systems biology. You will contribute to multiple stages of development using high-dimensional functional genomics and cellular profiling assays and perform rigorous quantitative analyses on complex multi-omics datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to therapeutic development using high-dimensional functional genomics and cellular profiling assays (including in vitro and in vivo CRISPR screens)
- Perform statistically rigorous quantitative analyses with reproducible research and data integrity practices
- Analyze, interpret, and summarize complex biological data using data visualization tools
- Integrate internal and external data and knowledge resources to enable biological data mining
- Develop and implement experimental and/or computational methods to integrate multi-omics datasets
Technical Overview
The technical scope includes pooled/arrayed CRISPR screens, single-cell transcriptomics, lineage tracing, and integrating proteomic and metabolomic datasets. You will analyze RNA-Seq, DRUG-seq, WGS, CRISPR, and single cell RNA-Seq data using statistically rigorous and reproducible methods, including in silico derived proteomic datasets and data visualization for communication.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a systems biologist (senior scientist level) with deep experience generating and analyzing complex multi-dimensional biological data, especially functional genomics at both bulk and single-cell scales. They are strong in designing and implementing high-dimensional functional genomics and cellular profiling assays (including pooled/arrayed CRISPR screens and single-cell transcriptomics) and can perform statistically rigorous, reproducible analyses with clear cross-functional communication.
