Senior Security Consultant, Global Proserve Security

This is a senior cloud security consulting role within AWS Professional Services (AWS ProServe). You will partner with customers to design, implement, and automate secure AWS solutions, lead security workstreams, and coach executive security and cloud leaders on security strategy and cloud security operations.

• Act as technical leader for customer engagements and security workstreams
• Lead teams of consultants
• Design, implement, and automate secure, scalable AWS solutions
• Develop strategic relationships with internal and external leaders
• Mentor and coach junior consultants

You will deliver complex and scalable security outcomes on AWS by leveraging AWS security technology and automation. The role emphasizes technical leadership across customer engagements, plus mentorship of junior consultants and engagement delivery with the AWS Partner Network (APN).

The ideal candidate is a senior cloud security consultant who has led customer engagements and security workstreams, acting as a technical leader for designing, implementing, and automating secure AWS solutions. They can coach executive security and cloud leaders on security strategy and improving cloud security operations, while also mentoring junior consultants. The candidate is comfortable diving into AWS security technology to tailor solutions that minimize unnecessary risk for customers.
