Senior Site EHS Manager leads safety and environmental programs at a designated Amazon site, partnering with operations to implement WHS policies and reduce risk. The role requires lean and Kaizen-driven improvements, data analysis of safety trends, and development of safety staff at the site.

Key Responsibilities

Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy
Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon Safety Policies
Measure site performance against published safety requirements and fix deficiencies
Maintain safety record keeping and data integrity
Manage and mentor the Safety Managers and Safety Associates

Role emphasizes local/regional regulatory compliance, safety policy execution, data integrity of safety metrics, Kaizen-driven project work, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, IPS, and leadership.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior safety/environmental leader with 7+ years of program and people management experience, lean and Kaizen expertise, and CPR/First Aid certification. They should be able to build a high-performing safety team and drive incident reduction across a manufacturing site.
