About this role

Walmart is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Walmart+ Membership Experience Engineering team. The role leads the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions for the membership platform, builds scalable mobile platform capabilities, and improves reliability through observability and production issue troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solutions for the Walmart+ Membership platform
Develop scalable solutions using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python from design through testing
Ensure code quality via code reviews and investigate application crashes
Troubleshoot production issues and lead post-resolution root cause analysis
Implement observability using Splunk and Prometheus dashboards to monitor platform health

Technical Overview

You will develop and test features across mobile platforms and backend services using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.
