About this role
Senior Specialist, Benefit Sales provides senior-level support for member enrollment activities, guiding eligible members through health insurance enrollment and coordinating with community partners for outreach events.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with inbound/outbound calls to support enrollment goals
- Leads projects to meet enrollment targets
- Maintains enrollment calendar
- Performs quality checks and training for facilitated enrollment team
- Meets with prospective members to educate and assist with applications
Technical Overview
Focus on enrollment processes, NYSOH compliance, HIPAA privacy, data processing, and training; interacts with community organizations and health care providers.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced health care enrollment specialist with at least 3 years in health care/customer services, NYSOH training, and strong HIPAA/privacy awareness, capable of managing enrollment tasks and outreach in New York communities.
