SlateRx is seeking a Senior Tableau Data Engineer to build and maintain reporting and interactive dashboards that deliver actionable healthcare insights. The role emphasizes healthcare data analysis, advanced SQL/ETL work, and translating reporting requirements from business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain Tableau reports and interactive dashboards, Write complex optimized raw SQL queries for ETL, Conduct deep-dive healthcare data analysis to identify trends and opportunities, Apply HCC coding and DRG coding knowledge to contextualize insights, Lead requirements gathering sessions with business users and translate needs into technical solutions

Technical Overview

You will develop Tableau-based dashboards and reports, while using SQL to extract, transform, and load data from relational and non-relational databases. The work focuses on healthcare analytics tied to patient outcomes, medical costs, and coding frameworks including HCC and DRG, plus integrating inputs from claims, EMRs, and clinical notes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior data engineer with strong Tableau and SQL experience who can design interactive reports and dashboards for healthcare stakeholders. They have hands-on healthcare analytics experience, including HCC coding and DRG coding familiarity, and can perform deep-dive analysis on claims and EMR/clinical note data. They can also translate reporting requirements from business users into technical solutions.
