About this role
Schwab seeks a Senior Manager of Technology Finance to lead a team that provides strategic financial insight, planning, and analysis for Technology enterprise functions. The role owns budgeting, quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting, and it drives adoption of Technology Business Management and Total Cost of Ownership practices while partnering with key corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting for technology functions
- Build financial models for scenario planning and investment decisions
- Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports with KPI commentary
- Manage and mentor Analysts while partnering across Accounting, Procurement, Corporate FP&A, and HR
Technical Overview
This is a technology finance/FP&A role focused on building financial models for scenario planning and investment decisions, analyzing forecast variance and root causes, and producing KPI-based performance reporting. It also involves capitalization processes for internally developed software and aligning reporting to corporate standards.

The ideal candidate is an experienced finance leader supporting technology organizations, with strong FP&A capabilities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. They are a people leader who can mentor analysts and drive adoption of Technology Business Management and Total Cost of Ownership reporting while partnering with Accounting, Procurement, Corporate FP&A, and HR.
