About this role
Senior Technical Project Manager responsible for end-to-end management of enterprise IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget across waterfall and agile environments. Leads cross-functional teams, vendors, and governance processes to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple IT projects with schedule and budget control
- Develop and maintain WBS and milestones; manage dependencies and critical path
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including framing & discovery, sprint planning, demos, and retros
- Provide program status reporting, risk management, and leadership communication
- Vendor sourcing and contract management (RFP/RFQ/RFI, SOW, MSAs)
Technical Overview
Manages full project lifecycle, scope, milestones, and resource planning; leverages Penske methodology and tools; engages with engineers, designers, researchers, and product owners to translate technical requirements into actionable work.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level project manager with 7+ years of IT project leadership experience, adept in both waterfall and agile SDLC environments, and skilled at vendor management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information SystemsMISor Business Administration or equivalent experienceAt least 7 years of proven project management experience involving application developmentinfrastructure implementations and process improvement initiativesInformation technology backgroundProject Management Certification or formal project management trainingFormal training or knowledge on the Software Development Lifecycle or Application DevelopmentIn depth understanding of waterfall and agile SDLC
