About this role
This role is for a Senior Underwriter / Account Executive Officer (AEO) focused on management and professional liability underwriting. You will manage an assigned book of business comprised of moderately to highly complex accounts by analyzing complex risk, negotiating terms, and partnering with agents and brokers to drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business (moderately to highly complex accounts)
- Underwrite and skillfully negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability
- Execute business unit underwriting strategies across your book of business
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners within the business unit
- Partner with agents and brokers to provide insurance or surety solutions to customers
Technical Overview
The scope is underwriting and risk negotiation for complex insurance and surety products. It includes executing business unit underwriting strategies and applying coverage expertise across Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, CyberRisk, and related areas.

The ideal candidate is a senior underwriting professional who serves as a technical Account Executive Officer (AEO), independently assessing complex risk and negotiating terms to win and retain moderately to highly complex accounts. They partner with agents and brokers and execute business unit underwriting strategies to drive profitability, growth, and retention.
