Senior UX Designer responsible for shaping Expedia Group media product experiences, leading cross-functional design efforts, and translating product requirements into elegant, accessible UX solutions across devices and locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead collaborative efforts to define and frame complex product concepts

Technical Overview
Scope includes UX design artifacts (wireframes, mockups, prototypes), design systems, accessibility, collaboration with XD team and developers, and contributing to roadmaps and narratives.

The ideal candidate is a senior UX designer with 8+ years of experience, demonstrated success translating product requirements into design strategy, and a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design across multiple devices. They excel at collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver accessible, high-quality experiences and lead design initiatives within a global, fast-paced environment.
Must-Have Skills
Degree in User Experience Design or a related design fieldor equivalent professional experience.8+ years of professional experience working in User Experience Design or a related design field.Experience translating product requirements into design strategy and then acting on that strategy to deliver proposed design solutions which meet those requirements.Experience mapping customer journeys and leveraging user stories and personas to inform design strategy.Experience crafting design deliverables at various fidelitiesincluding wire framesmockupsand prototypes.Experience leveraging design systems and shared component libraries to ensure consistency and velocity.Experience collaborating with a range of diverse stakeholders across ProductEngineeringMarketingContentand Research.Ability to work successfully through high levels of ambiguity.Strong communication skillsboth written and verbal.Strong attention to design and visual detail.Knowledge of current design tools and softwareA portfolio showcasing design skills representative of your work at each stage of a product life cyclefrom conception to releasethat details the teamthought processesthe successesand pivots along the way.
