About this role
Senior Value Engineer at Twilio drives value-based sales support by partnering with sales and other teams to develop CFO-ready business cases, ROI/TCO models, and compelling executive materials aimed at accelerating opportunities in top accounts. The role blends consulting discipline with AI-enabled tools to scale value realization across the NAMER region.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the go-to value expert for go-to-market teams in supported territory
- Partner with sales management and solution engineering to support pursuits
- Develop CFO-ready business case presentations, POVs, and financial models (ROI & TCO)
- Identify and quantify key business drivers with customers
- Facilitate discovery to map 'as is' and 'to be' processes
Technical Overview
Role focuses on financial modeling, ROI/TCO analysis, and narrative development for executive audiences; leverages prompt engineering and generative AI to automate discovery notes and customer-facing materials; works across Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering in a SaaS environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior value engineer with 3+ years of management consulting and value engineering experience, proficient in financial modeling and ROI/TCO calculations, and skilled at creating CFO-ready business cases and engaging C-suite executives. They are comfortable driving cross-functional efforts in a remote, SaaS/B2B environment and adept at leveraging prompt engineering and generative AI to scale the VE program.
