About this role

AECOM is hiring a Senior Water Conveyance Project Manager to lead technical delivery for pipeline rehabilitation and design projects. The role includes field inspections, pipeline condition assessments, and analysis work from planning through design and construction support for water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Technical lead for pipeline rehabilitation and design
Interface with client and regulatory agencies
Conduct field inspections and pipeline condition assessments
Perform pipeline failure analysis and pipeline forensics analysis
Prepare engineering services proposals, fee estimates, and schedules

Technical Overview

This position focuses on pipeline engineering for municipal water conveyance, including pressure pipe design and pipe stress analysis. The work spans pipeline rehabilitation and design, condition assessment for remaining useful life and renewal treatments, and pipeline failure and forensics analysis, using both open-cut and trenchless methods such as micro tunneling and jack and bore.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior civil or structural engineer with 8+ years delivering municipal water, wastewater, and/or stormwater pipeline design, analysis, installation, and inspection. They have strong technical leadership for pipeline rehabilitation and design, including condition assessment, remaining useful life evaluation, and pipeline failure/forensics analysis, and they hold a Licensed PE.
