About this role
AECOM is hiring a Senior Water Conveyance Project Manager to lead pipeline rehabilitation and design work across the United States. The role focuses on technical leadership for pipeline engineering tasks including condition assessment, pressure pipe design, and pipe stress analysis, supported by proposal development and client/regulatory coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical lead for pipeline rehabilitation and design
- Interface with client and regulatory agencies
- Perform field inspections and pipeline condition assessments
- Conduct pipeline failure analysis and pipeline forensics analysis
- Prepare engineering services proposals, fee estimates, schedules, and technical documentation
Technical Overview
You will provide technical leadership for pipeline rehabilitation and design, including new and rehabilitated pipe designs for water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure. The work includes field inspections and condition assessments, pipeline failure and forensics analysis, remaining useful life evaluation, renewal treatment recommendations, and engineering outputs such as investigations memorandums and engineering reports, along with trenchless and open-cut construction method knowledge.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior pipeline and water conveyance project manager with 8+ years of experience designing municipal water, wastewater, and/or stormwater pipelines. They are a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with hands-on expertise in condition assessment, pipeline failure and forensics analysis, pressure pipe design, pipe stress analysis, and both open-cut and trenchless methods such as micro tunneling and jack and bore.
