Sentinel - Staff Systems Data Architect - 15907

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Data Architect to develop and execute a data strategy supporting digital engineering and digital thread initiatives. The role oversees scalable data infrastructure and enables advanced analytics for weapon system design from initial development through sustainment.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee scalable data infrastructure including creation/collection, storage, management, integration and analysis, and data serving
• Collaborate with engineering and business leaders to align data initiatives with program goals
• Develop and enable program data risks management process in concurrence with program risk management
• Mentor and build a high-performing data team and represent the company at industry forums

This position focuses on end-to-end data architecture including data creation/collection, storage, management, integration, and data serving. It also emphasizes risk management for program data and staying current on industry and DoD trends related to data frameworks, management, and analytics.

The ideal candidate is a Staff-level Systems Data Architect who can define and execute a data strategy aligned to digital engineering, digital thread, and advanced analytics goals. They have experience designing scalable data infrastructure (creation/collection, storage, management, integration, and data serving) and can build and mentor a high-performing data team while aligning data initiatives with defense program objectives.
