Process customer payments for dealership service work and parts purchases while ensuring repair order and invoice reconciliation. Maintain accurate documentation, update service history, manage keys for completed repair orders, and support the service department phone workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect service repair orders and/or parts invoices for completion and accuracy
- Reconcile repair orders and parts invoices and complete the accounting section
- Calculate materials charges and taxes and collect payments (cash, check, authorized charge account)
- Update customer service history files according to department procedures
- Manage keys for completed repair orders and handle service department phone calls and messages
