About this role
The Service Electrician II installs, maintains, and repairs electrical and communication issues in EDC operations. The role includes troubleshooting high-voltage electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, maintaining repair records, and following lock out/tag out procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot 5 - 600 VAC electrical systems and equipment
- Maintain motor controls, PLC's, VFD's, relays, generators, and power transducers
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment failure and down time
- Follow lock out/tag out procedures and inspect installed equipment
- Maintain records and document/order parts used for inventory
Technical Overview
This role focuses on 5 - 600 VAC electrical systems with maintenance of motor controls, PLC's, VFD's, relays, generators, and power transducers. Work includes interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics, using operating test equipment, and documenting repairs and parts inventory.
